bad looking type after using sorenson squeeze 4.5

i have a video that often displays a screen of text. the text is extremely clean and sharp in the mp4 file, however after using sorenseen squeeze 4.5 to convert the file to a flv, the text looks like it got clipped at the baseline. specifically look at the bottom of any letter "a"

i have posted examples... "qt.jpg" is a screenshot from the quicktime mp4 i got from the production house, and "sorenson.jpg" is what i get after using sorenson squeeze. now i must say, i'm not a video guy, i've always used one of the preset format & compression settings. i have tried several settings, but continue to get the same results. what setting should i change to get the text to look better?

Thanks

I'm guessing this may be due to a deinterlace filter, try turning off de-interlacing.  Note:  If your source is designed for interlaced display (TV) and your destination isn't (a computer screen), you want to leave deinterlacing on.
