Several users periodically sending 2 to 5 copies of identical emails

In a domain environment, this problem affects at least 3 users when they send email. Periodically, when the user sends an email, multiple emails arrive at the destination. It's almost as if the sender clicked Send multiple times before message is actually sent.

Do you have AV installed on the server?  If so, the full name would help

Yes it's Symantec Mail Security for Exchange ver 5.0.6.368

This is pretty common for Symantec - infact most AV will do it, but Symantec is the worst offender - do you have the power to uninstall it and either install something else, or better yet scan your mail some other way?

Not really. I'll call Symantec though, I think we have a support contract. Thanks for your response. Will update the question with my progress.

Sorry for the delay. Thanks again for your help. I installed the latest version of Symantec Mail Security for Exchange and the problem seems to have cleared up.
