Visual Aid Tool Tips not displaying in Dreamweaver
Whenever I selected a div in dreamweaver a tooltip type box would normally appear showing width, height, etc properties. Now whenever I do this the tooltip box flashes up and disapears so quickly I can't see it.

Yes, it does sound like a symptom of a larger issue. Are you sure your video drivers are Vista-approved?
I would look to that first. If the drivers are good/up to date, then try an uninstall/reinstall (make sure to export definitions first) of DW.

Sorry I thought this thread had reached its natural conclusion. Apologies, if I've caused any upset.
The video drivers are Vista approved I'm currently testng my backups on another system before I reinstall.

I'm not upset, I just wanted to know what the status was...I learn from doing this as much as you do.

But the conclusion is not necessarily deletion...
Either the reinstall works, in which case you should accept your post or mine as the answer, or it doesn't. If it doesn't work, then just say so and we can keep trying or you can delete. But when you try to close it without any update or comment, you will find that a lot of Experts will object.

I've been looking in the Adobe KB for this issue and have not been able to find anything. What operating system are you using?
