Hello,

I'm trying to put a csv file in my aastra telephones to make the directory have numbers to dial to.
I have acces the phones webpage and went to configuration server
filled in the http server ip address and the http path.

I made a new directory on the server called aastra.
Inside this directory are 2 files.
1 is called aastra.cfg
and 1 is called phonebook.csv
In the aastra.cfg file there is 1 information line.

directory 1: phonebook.csv

In the phonbook.csv file I have 3 telephone numbers

home, 123456789
work, 123456789
friend, 123465789

This is what I found on information on configuring the phonebook. But as I go to the directory service on the phone it displays a message. Phonebook is empty.

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

That is basically what I am doing on our 480i phones and it works fine. The only difference is that I am loading the config from a tftp server instead of a web server.

aastra.cfg :-
directory 1: 480i_phonebook
sip vmail: 6599

Part of 480i_phonebook :-
Appleton Julie,6081
Baker Claudia,6091
Bateman Sam,6015
