I rescently discovered the joys of APC. I've only installed it on my dev server with modules:

php-pear
php-dev
apache2-dev

Now my question. If setting up APC on a live server, would I also need to install all these dev packages, or would it be better to only install the bare minimum required to run APC?
Which modules will that be? Please advise.

It would be the same on both - you'd just change the settings in php.ini to reduce error output etc on your production box.
