I've created an email signature and I'm using Outlook 2007 to send it. There's a logo in the signature and I've uploaded the image file to a web server so that the image won't appear as an attachment when the email is received on the other end. I've used an absolute URL to ensure this is the case (see code snippet below).
Problem is that when I send it, the receiving email program is displaying the logo as an attachment. I can't work out why this is happening since I'm using the absolute URL.
Does anyone know why this is happening, ie. why it isn't downloading the image from the web server instead of displaying as an attachment?
Thanks for your help.
