I have written VB6 database programs in the past and am wanting to learn Visual Basic Express. &nbsp;Can anyone give advice on the best way to learn? &nbsp;Things like good reference websites would help. &nbsp;I'm not sure how much has changed and how easy (or hard) it will to learn the next version. &nbsp;Is it a matter of getting a book and learning from that?

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. It has been replaced with VB.NET, and is very similar to VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the programming language for the Microsoft Office product line.
