Failed to read ExMon data from the ETL trace file

Hello,

I am trying to use the Exchange Troubleshooting Assistent in Exchange 2007 to get information why users with Outlook 2002 receiving the RPC cancel request dialog box very often.
For earlier versions of exchange there was the ExMon tool to collect RPC data from outlook users. Now you have to use the Exchange Troubleshooting Assistent with the integrated ExMon tool.
The collection of data starts properly (it looks like), but after it is finished I am receiving the following error messages.

"Failed to read ExMon data from the ETL trace file
No user data was found in Exchange Server User Monitor (ExMon) ETL trace
file 'C:\Perflogs\srvNAME-20070529092007\srvNAME-EXMON.etl'. This may be
because you are not running this tool on a version of Windows that is the
same or more recent than the server on which the trace was collected, or
because there was no RPC data in the trace file. "

Any idea or comment for that issue?

I had a similar issue.

Install exMon on your client and open it as follows:
exmon.exe "[Drive:][Path]InputFileName.etl"

ExMon should be able to open the ETL file collected with the Troubleshooting Assistant.
