Third party backups of SBS 2003

When the company tries to backup Exchange I get this error message:

CExBackup::backupService:HrESEBackupSetup: Error Number 0xc800020e: An
incremental backup cannot be performed when circular logging is
enabled.

I'm not sure what circular logging is but is it okay to turn it off and if it is, how do I do it?

Appreciate the help.

Circular logging should NOT be used - if it is then your ability to recover exchnage to the point of failure in the event of a problem is zero - so switch it off now.

Make sure that you do regular backups of exchnage, that way the transaction logs will be purged on a regular basis and will not keep filling up your disk.

Thanks.  How do I disable it?  kb314605 refers to clearing a checkbox for circular logging but I don't see any checkbox labeled as "Enable Circular Logging" in the Properties dialog box under System Manager|servers.  Am I missing something or has something changed from an update?

Oops.  My mistake.  I misread the instructions.  KB314605 has the correct instructions for turning off Circular Logging when you are not using Microsoft Backup on SBS 2003.
