Delete mail On Mailbox & Handheld

I have a client that has a new Blackberry and is interested in the option when he deletes: On Mailbox & Handheld.  My question is more of an understanding of this feature.  He has Outlook and is POPing his mail at the office.  I am assuming it can't delete mail that has already been POPed right??  Does this simply mean that it can delete mail off the server before being POPed?

If someone could please provide a good explanation, I would appreciate it.

Hi

You are correct if you think that he cant delete mail thats already downloaded. Thats because the blackberry device cant see the personal folder on his machine, and has no access to it, so therefore it cant and wont delete the mail from it.

Let me know if you need more info.

Will it remove it from the mail server if it hasn't been POP'd yet?
