Cisco Clean Access Agent DHCP refresh disconnects mapped applications

L2 OOB NAC Deployment with AD SSO - users have login scripts mapping drives and kicking off apps but CCA Agent refreshes IP address which per Cisco TAC is unconfigurable (despite web authen giving it as an option!). During this refresh, any mapped app disappears from desktop and needs to be refreshed. I do NO need the DHCP to be refreshed but since it seemingly must be, how can I avoid these mapped apps from disappearing? Surely this is done in a lot of places with NAC and AD SSO? Thanks!

I have created a frontend to our login script.
The loginscript was in batch so i left it alone, but created an HTA that does the following:

1) open a window stating that we are logging into the network.
2) ping the core switch until I receive a reply.
3) start the 2 applications that require the network
4) load the login script
5) close the HTA window

Hope this helps.

There are options in the CAM to NOT refresh IP after login, once I clicked this all was good.

Do you, or anyone else for that matter, have issues in your environment where Clean Access seems like it is the last app to load in the notification window, down by the clock.

I wonder if there is a way to prioritize the apps so that it loads much quicker...  One thing I thought about trying was to load it as part of the local group policy.  I am not sure yet as to load it as a machine or user policy.

Any thoughts or comments...

I am trying to have it load sooner so that everything else can load accurately and smoothly.

Thanks,
-Miah
