Can you change file attributes in Mac OS X?

Is it possible to change the "Last Opened" file attribute/description on Mac OS X? If so, how would a user do it?

The OS X version is 10.4.11

Thank you,

yes. it's possible.

for example, today is 06/20/08. but you need to change the 'last opened' date to '05/15/2007'.
-change the date of your mac to the date you like;
-double click to open the file;
-change the date of your mac back to normal;
then you will see the change in 'last opened' (select  the file, then 'apple + i' to open 'get info' of the file);

or you can get a third party application to do so:

hope it helps.
