Outlook 2007 disconnects from Exchange Server 2007

Computers are on a domain using Outlook 2007 connected on MS Exchange 2007, what's special about the computers are being energy efficient, even NIC goes to sleep. How long does it take for Outlook to reconnect to Exchange Server after waking up? Is there a way to immediately connect after waking up? like less than 10 sec?

No i don´t think so because 10 seconds its a very "good time" for the computers to be operational again .
