AS400 Time and Date

Hi,

Can anyone help me on how to verify/configure date on AS400 (iSeries)?  I would like to sync also the time to NTP server.

hi mkuser01,

To change the systemdate/time, you can use
CHGSYSVAL QDATE
and
CHGSYSVAL QTIME

the synchronisation:
First setup the NTP attributes with command CHGNTPA +F4
Start the service with STRTCPSVR *NTP
On the PC, run the command "NET TIME \\MYAS400 /SET"

I think that's all
