Outlook .ost shanked

I have changed hosted Exchange 2007 server providers and like a dummy did not save my contacts, appts, notes, tasks and inbox to .pst files.  I have, however, a copy of my offline .ost file.

Every time I try to open Outlook 2007, it says the .ost file is not correct.  The messages reads "(file location" outlook.ost cannot be accessed because it has been configured for use with a different mailbox."

Any ideas how to pull the data out without having to buy a special programs for $200.00?

Thanks,
Matthew

Hi rakeshmiqlani,

Thanks for the feedback.  I installed the program, but, unfortunately, had the same error that several others indicated from your second response (with better screenshots).  I receive a message indicating:

"Internal Error (code=00000000E)"

I attempted to check out the author's website (www.pwdservice.com), but it does not exist any longer.

Does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks,
Matthew

mbooher,

Did you try my solution at Date:06.22.2008 at 08:01AM PDT ?

Although there is no free OST to PST converter, there are some that are less than $300.

Hi war1,

I needed an immediate solution and purchased a software package that allowed me to convert the orphaned .ost file to a .pst file.

Thanks!!

mbooher,

This link would have converted your OST file at a reasonable price within a day. You would not needed to purchase a software that you needed only once.
