What B and B wireless laptops are the best?

OK, so I must admit I am not even sure what B & B is? Is B the type of wireless connection and the other B, Broadband?  Sorry, stupid question.

It would seem like it doesn't really matter and everyone will probably have a different take on it.  So what could one purchase for $1,000 (it's not my money -- I would pay more)?

Would this be a starting point?

Thanks.

First question would be:
What would this laptop be primarily used for? Then we may be able to give some more information on some recommended laptops for that application.

Good question, sorry. We (the person I am helping buy it for) is only looking to use at conferences and vacations to be able to remote in to her office. Doesn't seem like reason enough to buy a computer, but hey.

So, I will attach a pdf of one she is looking at. I have never heard of that brand.

Connect further...control easier

With the ATEN CE624, you can now enjoy a high-quality visual experience powered by HDBaseT technology and the convenience of a single Cat6 cable to transmit uncompressed video with zero latency and multi-streaming for dual-view applications where remote access is required.

nobus,

Thanks for helping. You are one of the best. I apologize about the B & B. It was a term she used so I thought it was standard. I googled it, but didn't find much either. Maybe it's Bed and Breakfast :-) She was also talking about using it with Verizon, but wouldn't you have your own ISP and just use Wi-FI to connect at other places? Sorry, I have many, many desktops but no laptops. I guess she should have asked someone else.

It sounds like she can't go wrong with that setup given her needs. Again, I can set up most any desktop for someone once they tell me what they are looking for.

Thanks again.

That's why I love EE. I get all stressed out about computers and RAM and lines like that just take away the stress.
