navigation for slide presentation

In Adobe Flash CS3 how do you change between different slides in ActionScript 3.  I am surprise there isn't a navigation bar.  Just looking for some code examples.  Basically what i am talking about is when you click on file then go to new Flash Slide Presentation that is what i need is a navigation for that. Next and previous

It seems to me, after a quick look, that the following are the "codes" for jumping between slides:

Next:        updateFrame(1);
Previous:  updateFrame(-1);
