All folders appear as shared folders

Hi

one of our clients all the folders in his outlook appear as shared folders. when he creates a new folder it appears as shared folder

Can anyone help

If you have someone added into the permissions of the folders, even if they dont have any rights to the folders the folder appears as shared.
