In my organazition i have two Exchange 2000. I installed recently Exchange2007 and i want to search the Exchange2000 databases for an email conataining a specific phrase (content search). Because the databases are big i don´t want to move all the mailboxes from 2000 to 2007 exchange.
So, is there a way to search for a phrase in the database of Exchange2000 from Exchange2007 Search?

I'm not sure if it's possible, but you could try from Power Shell.

Get-mailboxdatabase -database "SRV-Exchange\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database"
