Greetings Experts!
My Question is: I have a web application residing on an application server, and I have installed SQL SERVER 2005 on a database server, but the two servers are located in different zones, and  there is a firewall in between, and I need to access the report server (services) on the sql server , from my application. So, could do I accomplish this? Would there be certain ports I need to open?
Thanks in advance.
best wishes,

Reporting service runs on Port 80 (HTTP) port.

Greetings Nazer!
thanks for the reply mate!
there is something else that I am confused about besides the ports issue. Do I need to add the application server's machine name on the report server users/roles list.? or would the application on the application server would be able to run the reports immediatly.? remembering that the two servers are on different zones..? I am thinking if I have to do this, it is going to be quite difficult. won't it.?

I am not so sure, but as far as I know, the report server is like another application server. You can simply configure how you want both ends to be. Next this is completely HTTP protocol. So no firewall problems.

Hope this helps
