Hi manajitrath,

it is not easy to convert a dialog base app to a service, since a service is just a console application which has no windows message queue.

But it is possible to implement a service which itself starts the dialog based application - i.e. you can find sourcecode for this at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/system/xyntservice.aspx

Hope that helps,

thanks for the reply.

i have gone through the code .it worked
But , Does the application work as a service once it is included in the ini ? will it have the property of a service?

Well, hard to say what you mean with 'property of a service' - at least it can be started/terminated without need to be logged in as a user. And it should be able to retrieve windows messages.
