PHP Function to Strip JavaScript White Space and Comments

I use the following PHP class to remove all whitespace and comments from my JavaScript.  It also provides encryption but I do NOT want the encryption, just the fluff stripper.

Can you please help by making fuction from the code below that will strip the code but not encrypt it?  

The _basicCompression() does this but it is in a class and I don't know how to take it out and use it by itself.

Hi,

you should be able to use that function if you take all the relevant functions out include and referred constants and just add them to your script.

Alternatively you could just get rid of the encrypt function from the class and use the class. this would be a better way!

There could be some bug on the code below but it will be easy to fix.
