Lenovo randomly looses internet connection but can still connect to network drives ect ...
Have a Lenovo T61 laptop, randomly throughout the day loose internet connection. Internet comes back saying not responsive ect ...
Tryed using the Netsh command to reset tcp/ip and problem returned. Went to lenovo downloaded the driver again for the ethernet uninstalled, installed. Problem still there.
I can ping all the websites , can connect to internal network drives .. cannot open internet and it wont come back till i reboot. I cant think of anything else to try. Did a system restore, still have issues. I am thinking i will have to re-image machine ...
I would say it may be a firewall issue , but i can hit all the internal drives and ping google, yahoo, cnn ect ...

Check your internet settings, make sure "automatically detect proxy settings" is disabled. Go to internet options> connections tab > lan settings. Make sure everything is unchecked.

Did that as well, its set to auto check and lan is all unchecked

Lease was fine, had my guy in main office check. Nothing to block my ip or mac address or anything. I ended up reimaging laptop ... couldnt mess with it any longer .. .
