Lenovo randomly looses internet connection but can still connect to network drives ect ...

Have a Lenovo T61 laptop, randomly throughout the day loose internet connection.  Internet comes back saying not responsive ect ...
Tryed using the Netsh command to reset tcp/ip and problem returned.  Went to lenovo downloaded the driver again for the ethernet uninstalled, installed.  Problem still there.
I can ping all the websites , can connect to internal network drives .. cannot open internet and it wont come back till i reboot.  I cant think of anything else to try.  Did a system restore, still have issues.  I am thinking i will have to re-image machine ...
I would say it may be a firewall issue , but i can hit all the internal drives and ping google, yahoo, cnn ect ...

Check your internet settings, make sure "automatically detect proxy settings" is disabled. Go to internet options> connections tab > lan settings. Make sure everything is unchecked.

hhmmmmm ok the next thing I would check, is to log into your router, and check the router's system time. Confirm that your router and the laptop don't have mis-matched times. The reason for this is lets say, router thinks it's 3PM, it sends a DHCP lease to the laptop saying that the lease lasts however many days, from 3PM to 3PM. If the laptop thinks it is 2PM, it won't use the DHCP lease it just got, because the laptop thinks the lease is not valid yet. Check those settings and let me know!

Lease was fine, had my guy in main office check.  Nothing to block my ip or mac address or anything.  I ended up reimaging laptop ... couldnt mess with it any longer .. .
