How do I get hold of the sound drivers for an HP dv9000 series laptop (dv9207us specifically), which now runs on XP. I have succeeded in reinstalling drivers for almost everything else, but the Conexant HD sound  drivers seem to be either very stubborn, or hard to get hold of. Any Ideas, I heard soething about a windows UAA package.....?

To get the driver working, first you need to install the UAA driver.
Its sort of an architecture set of instructions that every High Definition sound card and modem need to work.
Only after installing it you will "see" the device for the sound card in the device manager(before that there will be a unkown device but its not the sound card).
