Windows Mobile lag / hang issue (only way to get PDA to respond is to reboot)

DESCRIPTION:
I have a lag / hang issue.  I have a Sprint Q9C phone running Windows Mobile 6.  When in the messaging program and the device is displaying the auto complete words, it will eventually stop displaying the characters and eventually stop responding with the 4 color circle spinning continuously.  I get the same symptoms when typing text in on a web page when the device is displaying the auto complete text.

MY STEPS DONE:
1. uninstalled all programs (runs better, but not fixed)
2. moved all personal data to the memory card (runs better, but not fixed)
3. Downloaded SKtools to fix stuff (no difference that I can see)
NOTE:  I have never done a hack to unlock anything.

MY THEORY:
It is the auto complete text program that is causing the problem.  I am sure I could Google a fix if I knew the Microsoft terminology to describe the auto complete feature of Windows Mobile.  There has to be a way to reset the auto complete text to the way it was when I got the phone.  Its almost like there is a bad index in the auto complete text database, else why would it spin forever?

microsoft calls it "word completion"
if you feel that it is causing the problem and want to stop it until you get it fixed..do this:
1) click start>settings>input
2) click on the word completion tab
3)uncheck 'suggest words when entering text'

as far as fixing it, maybe the DB needs to be rebuilt (not sure). I would suggest getting a word completion editor.  They usually allow you to rebuild everything after you have added your own custom words (dictionaries).  Google: windows mobile word compeletion.  A lot of the first results are dictionary tools

I just replied to 2 emails without having to reboot.  All I did was disable "word completion".  TYVM:)  I will try to google a better fix.
