BlackBerry Professional Installation - Exchange Server is not detected

I am trying to install BlackBerry Professional 4.1.4 on Win2k3 R2 SP2, and I am receiving the following error message:  Exchange Server is not detected. A newer version of mapi32.dll may need to be installed.

I am running Exchange 2007 on a separate box, on Win2k3 RS SP2.

I downloaded Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 from Microsoft's website.

Also, under the Exchange Server Permissions check on the install, it lists the following:
- <exchange server name>: All permissions
- <exchange server name>: All permissions
- <exchange server name>: All permissions
- <exchange server name>: All permissions
- <exchange server name>: No permissions

Doesn't make much sense.

I followed all the prerequisite steps in the installation guide for Exchange 2007 installs.

Any ideas?

Kurt, the installation guide from blackberry.com is exactly like the step-by-step instructions that Gary Cutri posted (just the BB guide is a little harder to follow).  I did everything that Gary outlined (I think).  I guess I will try it again using that post from Gary and get back to this post.

Well, I got the server installed almost without a hitch.  The only problem I have now is that the BES cannot send mail.  The exact message I receive when starting BES is:

"Failed to open the default message store using the MAPI Profile 'BlackBerryManager'.  Please review the log for details.  You will not be able to send messages from BlackBerry Manager by email."

Guess I will try to figure this one out now.

Thanks.
