Mail server issue in production

I am confused by problem in which PRODUCTION mailboxes are not acceptable.

It influences on some PRODUCTION applications which are downed by now.  

 

When one application is starting following issue is showed:

 

Caused by: com.server.service.api.ABCServiceException: com.server.service.api.ABCServiceException: Exception while connecting to mailBoxin EmailListener

        at com.server.service.impl.framework.LeadComponent.start(LeadComponent.java:228)

        at com.server.service.system.ComponentManager.deployComponent(ComponentManager.java:313)

        at com.server.service.system.ComponentManager.start(ComponentManager.java:198)

Caused by: javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: Login failed: generic failure

        at com.sun.mail.imap.IMAPStore.protocolConnect(IMAPStore.java:456)

        at javax.mail.Service.connect(Service.java:236)

        at javax.mail.Service.connect(Service.java:137)

        at com.server.service.rl.emailRL.EmailListener.startEmailThread(EmailListener.java:213)

 

It seems PRODUCTION mail account have another password then was configured in the past. We tried to connect to ausa@serverads.com mailbox with following credentials:

username: username1
password: password1
, but error happened.

 

Please provide support to restore normal access to PRODUCTION mail accounts.

As you said "It seems PRODUCTION mail account have another password then was configured in the past."
So get hold of the new password and everything will work fine.

What I am confused about is, what kind of help are you expecting.

Who all have the access to the password ?
I have all the username and password list with me.
 Do you know who changed the password ?
No idea
Whats the mail sevrer you are using ?
postfix in linux

Because if you want some one to hack into the system to find the password, then I don't think, I or any one else would be of any help out here.

Please help me how to proceed :-)
