I have a problem with backup exec 10d.
Every couple of minutes the error pop´s up, that the connection to the backupexec database have been lost and that I have to check cables and that the services are running. I pres "ok" and than I can type the password to connect to the media server again and it accept and start running - but only for some minutes

I can see in the eventlog the following error occours in the event viewer
Error: 644, Severity: 21, State: 5
Could not find the index entry for RID '1680f5200189900200' in index page (1:839), index ID 2, database 'BEDB'.

Any suggestion?

Try running beutility.exe
Add your media server and then choose the options to "repair database" and "rebuild indices".
