Hi Guys, I am having a problem with SSIS, specifically utilizing the FTP function. I created a FTP Task Connection but cannot get it to connect.
I entered the current Server name, User name and Pswd, ckd Use Passive Mode, insured I had the correct port. I then triple ckd all entries. I clicked Test Connection and received the msg Connection cannot be established

Is there something else I need to do?

Thanx

Did you try this using the FTP utility from the command prompt ?
1. Start --> Run --> Ftp
2. type Help to see the available commands
3. Test to see if you can establish a connection

Thanks LiorRon for responding so quickly
I entered the site address in IE ftp://....
I received the msg the site was a private site, so the site is valid. However I was never asked for login information.

Try:

1. Start --> Run --> Ftp
2. Open <Your FTP Site>

You should be prompted with a username and password.
Enter the same username and password you provided for the SSIS FTP.

What results do you get ?
