hardware interrupt acer aspire 3610 games stops

My Acer Aspire 3610 cannopt play any games without hanging. After 1-several minutes it simply lock up. I have deleted the MasterIdDataChecksum and the  SlaveIdDataChecksum keys, but they seems to be coming back. The error occurs with f.ex. Luxor Amun Rising, but also with all the Majong games.
Running XP Pro SP3, 1gb mem , harddsik 25 GB (90% free), HD was reformatted quite recently

Regards and thank you in advance

Esquire f-king,
thanks for your advice. I downloaded, extracted and installed as instructed. First play hangs. Removed the two keys MasterIdDataChecksum and the same for the SlaveIdDataChecksdum from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHOINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E96A-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\000x .
Played two games all right, the third stopped!. The two keys did not reappear.

Would you any further advice.

The COMPUTER is blocked - mouse, keyboard are dead. After 5-20 minutes I may have access to the computer and be able to use the game again. During the "dead period" I even cannot access Windows Task Manager. Using the Process Explorer the graph shows that the CPU is 100% used. The only unusual CPU usage is the DPCs that occupies 35-45 % of the CPU. Another thing that I have found is that playing a radiostation for some time results in a blockage too, which lasts  shorter 5-10 minutes, after which the radio can be restarted.
Thabks for your effort

have you run updated anti-virus scan ?
also try without internet connection to see if you still get error.

AV  ->  Multiple times with NOD32 and avg and a couple ogf the on-line services
Internet  -->  No change, whether it's on or off

Checked the UDMA,   it's not PIO

My daughters Aspire 3610 in Copenhagen, Denmark has the same problem

Still gratefull for your effort

try running msconfig and take everything off the startup ,click start ,run ,type msconfig.

Then click apply after you unselected everything.
reboot and try game again.
If it works then activate each startup program till you find culprit.

Took everything off the startup via msconfig  --->  stops after two games
stopped all running services --> stops after two games
started in SafeMode --> ran games for 1-2 minutes, then the machine powers off by it self
Can I be of any help with prints from Hijackthis, autoruns, processexplorer, AIDA32, etc?
