Editting Photoshop document how do i modify just the text layer

i have a PSD and I need to change the text (someone else developed the PSD).  I get the missing font message

some text layers contain fonts that are missing.
these layers will need to have the missing fonts
replaced before they can be used for
vector based output

Try this:   Click "OK" on the "Some text layers contain fonts that are missing..." Photoshop error message. Now select "Text Tool" and click on "Font family dropdown menu" and scroll to the bottom.  The installed fonts are black. The fonts that you are missing are grey put in square brackets.

Can you get this far to find out the name of the missing font?  Is it at all possible to copy the font file from the person's computer who originally made the PSD?
