I have a datagridview that is populated with DataGridViewComboBoxCells

Unfortunately, I find it inconveinent that you have to click twice on the cell to actually open the ComboBox.

What is the work around?

Doing

comboBoxcell.AutoComplete = true;

helps a bit, (reduces 1 click), but still the user needs to click twice.
Is there a command to open the combobox directly?

I would think that you want the cell to be in the edit mode when you enter it.

the only thing that is contained inside the grid is a a bunch of comboboxes. I find it very inconveinent to have to first click on the grid location... then click on the combobox to open it. What are possible solutions?

I mean EditMode = EditOnEnterCell.
