Hi All,
We purchased a new VoIP server and the client insisted of using Cisco.

Now we found out that Cisco only ships with their own protocol Skinny. This is not compatible with our VoIP server and we have to upgrade the firmware.

We no longer have our agreement with Cisco in place and hence can not get on the site and download the firmware.

So I'm asking if anyone knows a way around this - or in fact can be kind enough and send me the SIP Firmware for models 7940G and 7960G

Many thanks.

Hi
Looks like only way to get firmware is to contact Cisco.

Here is a document that could help you with your problem: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/phones/ps379/products_tech_note09186a0080094584.shtml
