I have an exchange 2003 server, and recently with Microsoft's help, I renamed the old database so that I could use a new datebase while the old database was being repaired and compacted. Once the old database was done, Microsoft helped me merge the old and new database. That all went fine, but a few people had the following error after the merge.
"Your mailbox has been temporarily moved on Microsoft Exchange server. A temporary mailbox exists, but might not have all of your previous data.
You can connect to the temporary mailbox or work offline with all of your old data. If you choose to work with your old data, you cannot send or receive e-mail messages."
then there are three buttons, "use temporary mailbox" "use old data" and "cancel"
With most people, I clicked on "use temporary mailbox" and then the next time you open outlook, you don't get this message anymore. On one users pc, the message keeps coming up even after choosing "use temporary mailbox". Does anybody have any ideas on how to make this message go away for good?
