Updating cacerts file on server

I have a Solaris box that needs to contact another server running tomcat (8443) in order to access some web services.  However, the ssl certificate from the Tomcat box is not installed on my Solaris box.
What steps do I need to take to install this cert? I already have the certificate.

Thanks-

This looks great.  Unfortunately I only have Java 1.4 on the box and that is out of my control.  Apparently this only runs with Java 5?

I think it's only the for loop that needs changing to a standard one at line 152

That's what I thought as well... but 1.4 still pukes on StringBuilder, even when I modify the for each loop.

Yeah... I'm not a Java Developer ;-)  Do I literally just need to change 'StringBuilder' to 'StringBuffer'?

Thanks a million.  Do you happen to know if I need to restart Tomcat after updating this?

If there's the possibility of any cert caching, it's not a bad idea
