Logitech Steering wheel work with Grand Theft Auto IV

I want to know if anyone has had any luck with using the logitech steering wheel with Grand Theft Auto IV on a PS3 console?  If so do you need to use both controls to get all functionality or can you just use the steering wheel....

As far as i'm aware - it is not compatible with GTA4, Have tried with GAME Wheel - no effect.

I read at another site that someone was able to use it BUT on the PC version....Im surprised no one else has tried this...
