Did you do a manual install? because you can install MQ from SMIT too:<br />

1. Software Installation and Maintenance <br />
2. Install and Update Software <br />
3. Install Software <br />
<br />
Then it ll ask the location of the MQ Installer. <br />
<br />
As for startup you can do :<br />
<br />
Runmqsc QMGR <br />
&nbsp;<br />
Start listener <br />

I have installed MQ 6.0 on AIX 5.2 how can i chek if the instalation was sucessful what process should be running ..
