I have installed MQ 6.0 on AIX 5.2 how can i chek if the instalation was sucessful what process should be running ..

Hi ,

   I am new to MQ and don't know how to start the MQ services .Can you please let me know how to start the MQ services and How to chk if the installation was sucessfull.

Did you do a manual install? because you can install MQ from SMIT too:

1. Software Installation and Maintenance
2. Install and Update Software
3. Install Software

Then it ll ask the location of the MQ Installer.

As for startup you can do :

Runmqsc QMGR
 
Start listener
