I need something that will allow me to enter:<br />
<br />
- Path to executable<br />
- Switches for silent installation<br />
- Press OK<br />
- The program will appear in the list of applications<br />
<br />
Ideally it will be a portable executable that saves the settings in an ini file so that I'll be able to have it on a USB stick, with all the applications in the list. This way I'll be able to plug it on any computer, select the programs I want and press &quot;Install Selected Software&quot;<br />

Hi,

HTA file to tick checkboxes and install softwares

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. Scripting Languages

A programming language is a formal constructed language designed to communicate instructions to a machine, particularly a computer. Thousands of different programming languages have been created, mainly in the computer field, and many more still are being created every year. The description of a programming language is usually split into the two components of syntax (form) and semantics (meaning). Some languages are defined by a specification document (for example, the C programming language is specified by an ISO Standard), while other languages (such as Perl) have a dominant implementation that is treated as a reference. Some languages have both, with the basic language defined by a standard and extensions taken from the dominant implementation being common.
