HP Compaq 6910p Biometric fingerprint software/setup

Hi All

I have a HP Compaq 6910p and want to setup the fingerprint scanner to logon to windows Vista and also some websites. I've downloaded the driver from HP (SP39199) and installed it but I dont have any new options in Vista or/and new programs to access.
Reading some of the HP sites I think I have to load some security software to then interact with Vista (but not sure)? I've also tried to look for the operators manual to see if there is a setup guide in there, but I can only find the PDF's for hardware maintenance!

Any help would be much appreciated.

on http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=321957&prodSeriesId=3357377&prodNameId=3357378&swEnvOID=2094&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=ob-60526-1
it states
NOTE: To use a fingerprint to logon to a Microsoft Windows or Microsoft Windows Vista notebook, the HP ProtectTools Security Suite software is required.
