progressively slowing internet access, Mcafee software crashed twice in an hour, prefetch fills after i just deleted it's contents and they are the same files.  When I run netstat in MS_DOS there is a foreign adress outside of port number 49173  he-in-f136:http, It's either established, listening or waiting.
I have a program now listed under the start key called task scheduler that is seperate from task manager and I don't know what it's doing or how it got there.

it always helps to have a second opinion by an online scanner if your existing AV software isn't caching everything.

You don't need to uninstall SpyHunter or anything to do an online scan.
McAfee also is your resident antivirus and that has regular updates right? You're not installing Kaspersky antivirus, we only want you to do an online scan. You will only be downloading the kaspersky activex component that are needed to do the scan.
Kaspersky won't remove the virus that it finds so you need to save the report
Using Internet Explorer, run Kaspersky Online Scanner

* Once the scanner is installed and the definitions downloaded, click 'Next'.
* Now click on 'Scan Settings'

          o Scan Options: 'Scan Archives' and 'Scan Mail Bases'
* Click 'OK'
* Now under 'Select a target to scan' select 'My Computer'
* The scan will take a while, so be patient and let it run. Once the scan is complete, it will display whether your system has been infected.
* Now click on the 'Save Report As...' button:
* Make sure it says Save as a text file - change it if not
* Save the file to your desktop.


Alternatively, you can do the online scans phototropic had suggested (Trend or BitDefender) they remove what they find.
