Exchange, system manager tools status tells me critical service not running?
Our exchange seems to be funtioning fine but...
while going through dome settings, Exchange system manager, Tools, Status I see two items. One is the SMTP connector status available
2nd is the name of the server with a BIG X on it and status Critical service not running.
A while ago I messed things up by having 2 Default organizational unit for Small Business Server in active directory. I removed one and continued to setup exchange which is working fine. Our email is handled by exchange SMTP and NOT a smart host. What should I do about this critical error. Leave it alone?
