Switch to Different Form from View or Form

I am working on our Service Request (SR) system. We have two primary Forms to view our document data. The "Main" Form is for standard editing and supports our workflow process including making previous steps in the process read-only. The Admin-Main Form is an administrative form that allows specific SR Administrators to edit all steps in the form and set special administrative Fields.

We have separate Views to open the documents in the standard Form and the admin Form. Unfortunately, this is slow because when they open the admin View they have to go find the document they need to edit. I want to make this process easier. I want to have a button or menu item in the View or Form that would allow the opening of the document data in the "Admin-Main" Form instead of the "Main" Form.

Open the view in Designer and in the view events, there is a Form Formula event.
Make use of it like:
@If(@ismember("[Admin]";@UserRoles);"Admin-Main Form";"Main Form")

The above should work...give it a shot.

if not, in the post open of the Main form, you should manipulate based on the Role.
