Himachi-How?

I now use LogMeIn and want to give Himachi a try for a specific task, but can't figure out how to set it up. Can anyone direct me to a step-by-step, or perhaps write a short, simple one? I have read everything on the site and just don't get it.
My problem is, I set up the test site like they describe, and get a black window opens telling me that I am connected, but that is it. What happens next? How do I connect my remote computers?

Thank you

First, You didnt Tell us which Operating System (OS) you are using. So difficult to be precise.

Second, to achieve the same result as LogMeIn using Hamachi you need to also install or use a remote access solution (Remote Desktop [winxp pro], real VNC, UltraVNC, etc.)

https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/supportdocs.asp
https://secure.logmein.com/documentation/hamachi/Hamachi_User_Manual.pdf
https://secure.logmein.com/documentation/hamachi/Hamachi_Getting_Started_Guide.pdf

Install  hamachi on both or more computer
On one of the computers    Create a network,
On others join Network
as long as hamachi is running on the PCs, That it for hamachi.
(the free hamachi cannot be setup as a Service easily so you need to be logged in to an account)

If you enable file sharing on one or more PC and share a Folder (file sharing is a security risk if setup wrong please read above manuals or just don't use if your goal is to remote control), you can browse it by right clicking the PC  in the Hamachi interface (or use any other network browsing approach suitable to your OS)
Now In order to Remote Control  one PC from Other, you will need to install Remote access Solutions. Many free out there, dont know your OS so dont know what to recommend.

To end on a positive note, I use Hamachi on my Home PC (winxpPro) , PC Work (Mac OSX), Laptop(Vista Home) and my HTC 6800 phone (Windows Mobile 6.1)  and I can VNC and/or Remote desktop to all PC even using Phone. And all for free.  (if you dont count internet access costs)

Sorry, using Vista Enterprise. I don't want Hamachi to replace LogMeIn, I will be using both. What I need to do is run a synchronizing program and need to see the remote computer as just another hard drive. Can't seem to get LogMeIn interface to do that, but it sounds like Hamachi will (promo says all computers act like on a single network).
