One user (the boss) is having email address spoofed what can I do?

He is getting hundreds of system undeliverable on mail he did not send.

Whats the best way to erradicate this?

FURTHER QUESTION:

I am now having my email spoofed!

OK I accept no easy way to resolve this. But now i have messages that are Queued in 'messages waiting to be routed'. that are taking ages to come through.... is there any way to force these email to route straight away?

Cheers

Dorrego

Unfortunately there's nothing you can do to clean a spoofed address.

What can be done on the destination servers is to activate the "Sender Address Verification". At that point,  the server will accept messages only after verifying with DNS the MX records of the sender domain and matching the info written in the mail header.
But this will only stop SPAM attacks before reaching to exchange, therefore, the NDRs are no longer generated.

Thanks for that.

I will look into that. But the more pressing issue is all emails are now Queued in 'messages waiting to be routed' and take ages to be delivered.

Any ideas?
