Hi All,

Within our company we have some laptops that all of a sudden started blue screening with IRQL_NOT LESS OR EQUAL error, this can happen at any time and user has to restart. As i said this is on laptops only none of the workstation have this problem, also it is only the laptop uses in the office not remote users.

Have run anti virus and anti spyware, rolled back to previous restore point(incase is was an update error) but it still happens. Picure of error is attached

Any idea thank you.

There are any number of reasons this can take place.
New application driver issues, has there been a rollout of a new app lately? This error occurs when a driver uses an incorrect memory address. Other possible causes of this error are an incompatible device driver, a general hardware problem, and incompatible software.

you may be able to check the drivers with windows driver verifier which is included in windows.

Going from ac adapter to battery on the laptops can cause this. http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=316676&sd=RMVP

Are you using external keyboards on the office laptops and switch between users on them
