How do i enable single instance storage (SIS) on server 2008?

I believe SIS is a 2003 Windows Storage Server service.  Not available on 2008.

I am trying to install Microsoft DPM on to server 2008 and it says that i need to install SIS.

Sorry, it's early...SIS is part of File Services.  Add the ROLE File Services and sub roles you want.
