Backup job not running on the server
Guys,
I have been trying to backup a server but i have been unable to do so. Earlier, the errors that were being generated were mainly related to the shadwo copy events. I reasearched this very effective forum and also put in place the AFO option and enabled the shadow copies. Those errors have gone but new ones have propped, which are :
V-79-57344-65072 - The Exchange Store service is not responding. Backup set canceled.
V-79-57344-65072 - An error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec Remote Agent on the media server. Ensure that the job options are correct, and then submit the job again. The backup set was not created.
V-79-57344-3850 - The media operation was terminated by the user.
V-79-57344-33861 - The media operation was terminated by the user.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Is the remote server an Exchange server I'm guessing? Is the Remote Agent service running on the remote server?
ASKER
akirhol,
Yes, the remote server is indeed the Exchange Server and yes the agent is running on the remote server.

Was this configuration working prior to recently? Or has this been a persistent issue from the start of the installation? I assume you do have a remote agent license installed on the media server? I have seen where an installation works for 60 days then stops working with similar errors and it was due to not having a remote agent license installed and using the "trial" license for 60 days.
ASKER
No, this issue has comeup only recently. The backup was working perfectly fine earlier on. No License error has ever propped up.
Remember, the server is 2008. Maybe, some compatibilty issues?
