pix need areboot every 24 hours

Pix keeps needing to be re-loaded every 24 hours or so, possible config issue is it wotrh doing an ios update

Almost certainly a bug, not likely to be a hardware problem. Get an upgrade and try.

i am going to try to upgrade to later ver but havnt done anything on the pix for ages ive been on a desktop roleout project for 10 months and rebuilt my laptop losing all my notes ..... so just going through cisco upgrade notes ..... hopefully i wont have to reactivate 3des rsa keys etc ???? the customers not even there ???  be nice to see what the ver is and config ....but thanks for the input ...ill let you know how it went..

If you have not changed the configuration in any way, it may be a hardware problem. You have not added any VPN tunnels or anything?

Upgrading is straightforward, it will keep the licenses that you have enabled, but you should of course back it up before you begin.
