Can anyone offer advice on where to start with embedding a crystal report in an app?

Basically my report will take on parameter... an employee ID...
I want the rpt file to be "updatable" without recompiling the source...
I want to embed the report in a form in my application...

Any direction is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

how would you generate a report in your apps?  How would you best print a layout of information from your application?
Thanks

if by "generate a report" you mean let the user design the report then this solution is not good for you. You will need to buy license of Crystal Pro for every user.

nope... I mean let the user pick a list and hit generate and then see a report...

Follow the steps in the article I have written.  The list you will provide the user will tell you what data to load, the name of the report and with those information you will be able to dynamically show reports to users.
