I cannot schedule new appointments in Outllok 2003

When I double click on the time nothing happens, when I go to the tool bar menu bar to new appointment nothing happens, I checked my persmissions and I own the folder, it was working fine yesterday!.

Is it the same if you use OWA?

Try to create a new Outlook profile and check from there. Might be a profile corruption.

On the other hand, you can try a repair of the Outlook client.

Try removing all forms from Calendar properties.

1.) Click on calendar.
2.) Right-click on "Calendar" under "My Calendars"
3.) Select Properties
4.) Click the "Manage" button on the "Forms" tab.
5.) Highlight any and all forms in the right-hand pane and click Delete.

Worked for me.  Hope it works for you.

Run outlook/cleanfreebusy from the command prompt
Restart outlook
Run outlook/resetfolders from the command promot
Restart outlook

Also try creating a new profile and try not using the cached exchange mode
